Magnificent Jo Routens Artisanal Hiker from 1974.
 An iconic Grenoble manufacturer, Routens has been producing high-quality bicycles since 1940. Its production marked the golden age of artisanal bicycles.
 An excellent cyclist, he specialized very early on in the manufacture of touring bikes and bicycles with an often sporty character.
 The choice of tubes, angles and components of its machines as well as the quality of manufacture contributed greatly to the reputation of Routens bikes.
 This example built in Super Vitus 971 steel tubes weighs 12.22 kg fully equipped.
 It dates from 1974 judging by the number on the left rear dropout. It is equipped with the best components of the time, as well as a triple chainring crankset with the ideal spacing for mountain bikes.
 When riding, this touring bike has real sporty and dynamic behavior, in the purest Routens DNA.
 Original paint and stickers, the frame is straight and has no marks.
 The bike has been completely disassembled and restored, all components have been cleaned and polished. All consumables are new.
